SPLICE, the story of how a homeless kid in Omaha grew up to make governments tremble.REVIEWS
SPLICE is a non-stop thrill ride, taking the reader on an edge-of-your-seat experience through the military and organized crime worlds. Bill McCormick absolutely captures the senses of the military and combat from sight to sound to smell and leaves you only wanting more at the turn of every page. This book gets it right and keeps it coming!

A refreshing action thriller. Bill McCormick's writing style embraces sci-fi but has bare knuckles that deliver a real punch of reality or a reality that just isn't that far away. Reading this book was a pleasure and I was cheering at the end. A good book to enjoy if you want the bad guys to get bloodied up a bit and the good guys triumph.

This is like getting kicked in the balls and then saying thank you. Savage yet satisfying.

The writing style is very unique. I love how the author delivers realism with a dip of sci-fi (while) maintaining the balance between fiction and reality.

I felt like I was trapped on a runaway train but never wanted to be rescued. That ending was insane. There better be more SPLICE coming.
- Ayisha F
Not the best thing McCormick's ever written. It's the best thing I've ever read.
- Sheila T
The ending hit me in the face like a hammer.

My family grew up surrounded by the Outfit. The way (McCormick) dealt with the unpopular choice of the Don rang almost too true. If it doesn't make the capos and soldiers money, there's going to be a new Don. Had me constantly on tenterhooks the entire time. The ending sealed everyone's fate, and I'm there for it.
- Mark T.
Jesus. This fucking thing is brutal, but the ending makes the rest seem like a Mr. Rogers episode. Absolutely amazing.
- LaDrell R
I messaged (McCormick) on Twitter. He claimed he'd never broke camp in a war zone in his life. I don't believe him. He got too much right.
- Don L. - Contractor
This book is highly entertaining and well written about an interesting character. The pithy asides add humor and dimension to the narrative. Can't wait for a sequel!
- Billie H.
The blatant racism and commonplace violence only serve to make Splice who he becomes. An uncomfortable but astonishing read.
- Shanice L
An action-packed thrill ride.
- Liz S.
Fascinating and terrifying.
- Alisha R.
The best damn thing I've ever read.
- Enrique P.
I'm buying popcorn now for when this hits the big screen.
- Aziz M.
The Desert Eagle seems like overkill for a close shot, but I have no complaints.
- Sgt. B (Active Duty)
Not at all what I expected. I see why this thing won awards. Every time you relax (McCormick) punches you in the gut, slaps you upside the head, and then starts getting harsh. A stunning read.

Normally, sympathizing for a killer wouldn't be my first emotion. Yet, here I am.
